ICE / Attributes and evidence

Evidence gap planner

Review your completed evidence matrix by attribute area, with reasons for the conclusions it supports.

LEARNING GUIDE

Use this material to examine your own work. Confirm current requirements, forms and dates with ICE before applying.

ICE recommends mapping projects against the attributes before writing your report. Use your existing matrix to review what the evidence demonstrates.

Limits of the matrix check

The tool reads your summaries. It cannot verify who made a decision, how demanding a project was or whether an outcome is accurate. Recording evidence across the matrix does not establish readiness for review. ICE publishes no basis for a readiness percentage.

Following up a missing entry

For a result of "not yet recorded", first decide whether the experience exists. If it does, add a row explaining it. If you have not gained the experience, agree work that will help you develop it. Identify a specific opportunity over the next six months and discuss the responsibility you could take. Rewriting alone cannot fill a gap in experience.
